GSA Schedule (Multiple Award Schedule)

A GSA Schedule is a long-term government-wide contract with pre-negotiated pricing for commercial products and services. Once on a GSA Schedule, agencies can purchase from you without conducting a full competition.

How It Works

GSA Schedules (now called Multiple Award Schedules or MAS) cover nearly every category of goods and services. Getting on schedule requires a detailed proposal including pricing, commercial sales history, and technical qualifications. The process takes 4-6 months. Once awarded, the schedule lasts 20 years with 5-year option periods. GSA Schedule holders access the GSA eBuy system and can receive orders from any federal agency.

Example

An office furniture company gets on GSA Schedule. Federal agencies can now order directly from their catalog at pre-negotiated prices using a simplified purchase process, without issuing a new solicitation each time.
